ALCOR Scientific was formed after the merger between Diagnostic Systems Corp. and OST Medical. The company derives its name from “Alcor,” one of the two binary stars in the constellation Ursa Major, reflecting our founder’s belief that the potential for innovation is infinite.

ALCOR Scientific products are sold through a network of distributors, as well as directly to healthcare providers worldwide. All of our equipment is designed, manufactured and supported in the USA, in our Smithfield, Rhode Island center of innovation.
