INTRODUCTIONUse high power semiconductor at 808nm to “pump” a crystal that produces light of 1064 nm. That 1064 nm light is then cast upon a duplicating LBO (lithium triborate) crystal to halve the wavelength and obtain green light at 532 nm. This system of wavelength conversion allows control of the green light output using very short pulses.
